Almost 46 years ago I was a very lucky girl and scored an exclusive interview with The Beatles.

It was a rainy Sunday afternoon in Christchurch at the end of June and what a way to pass a miserable afternoon!

Have to say I did contrive the whole event telling their road manager, Derek Taylor, that I was a reporter for the teenage pages of a national magazine.

With no credentials I managed to spend a momentous time with the Fab Four.
Could you get away with it today - I think not! What wonderful memories....
