NZ Wealth and Air NZ

Just the other day one of our guests asked what was the basis of New Zealand's wealth. They were very surprised to see so many international companies based in Auckland.

It made us stop and think and the answer is so very simple.

It all starts at the farm gate. Be it beef, lamb, deer, grapes, timber, fruit or flowers all these forms of farming are the basis of our country's wealth.

This is the way we earn export dollars and tourism is right up there doing the same. It's good to know we are pulling our weight!

Did you know there is just one airline that circumnavigates the globe? And that airline? Air New Zealand!
