The weather here right now is like early Spring. It's so delightful it has inspired us to get in to the garden.

Half the roses have been pruned and just 16 to go! About to plant ornamental Kale for the late winter. Makes a lovely show in the car park garden.

So, congratulations to Spain for winning the World Cup. Great game and so sorry the Netherlands had to come second.

The All Blacks won against South Africa last Saturday night and there's another game this Saturday.

By the way, our NZ team The All Whites were the only unbeaten team in the Football World Cup. How about that?!

Roll on September 2011 when NZ hosts the Rugby World Cup. Fun and more fun....
