The Tardis....

The Springs is very difficult to photograph to catch the essence and ambience of the property.

From the frontage it looks small and unassuming, but as soon as guests enter they often remark that The Springs is just like The Tardis in the British TV programme, "Doctor Who".

That's a telephone box hiding a huge area!

Winter To Summer Roses...

Finally the roses are pruned, sprayed and fed. It is now time for them to have a sleep so they can bloom long and strong through our next season.

Mother Nature continues to astound me. Just how do the roses get from this to that!

Time For Our Holiday....

Come 01 July and Winter The Springs closes for 2 months and we are looking forward to some downtime.

Having said that, the painters arrive on Tuesday morning to do some interior work. Our guest room Rachel has new curtains and now a new coat of paint.

The weather is very mild today so Murray is trimming the Sasanqua Camellias which we espaliered along the entire fence line of the property. They have just finished blooming.
